Question by starlight*: I'm a virgin..how long do I need to wait for sex?

I can't stop thinking of having sex with him. I've known him from a distance with a series of events since August. I know he likes me, I'm hopeful he'll ask me out soon. I'm a virgin and I just can't stop wanting sex. I'm afraid lust will take over and I'll be called a slut. I've always been old fashioned, thinking my husband should take my maidenhead. Wanting it to be meaningful but I don't want to wait. I also don't want to be dumped right after. He's twenty & I'm eighteen. I go to the church group he attends but it's only because I like him. It's not even my religion. I've always been a hopeless romantic since I've stuck my nose in romance novels by the age of 14. I know sex won't be like the stories but I can't help but want it to be. You can burst my bubble.
